The Itinerary

  • Grandmother & Grandfather Rocks (Hinta & Hinyai)
This is a whimsical rock formation created by nature. It is inevitably reminiscent of the male and female genitals. On the way from the parking lot to the rocks, you will pass several small shops. These are run by local traders and offer regional products. One of them is homemade coconut caramel, a local and popular Koh Samui specialty.
  • Coconut plantation
On the jungle safari, we also stop at a coconut plantation. Here you will see trained monkeys picking coconuts and learn about the versatility and benefits of coconuts. You also have the opportunity to drink the juice of fresh coconut.
  • Namuang Waterfalls
The Na Muang Waterfalls 1 and 2 are probably the most famous waterfalls of Koh Samui. The first is 18.5 meters high and has a natural pool below. Here we give you time to bathe under the waterfall. The second comes down in cascades from 80 meters. At the foot of this waterfall is the Na Muang Safari Park.
  • Mummified Monk
In the Kunaram Temple, you will see the mummy of a real monk. It is interesting that the monk was not preserved in any way. It just dried up and didn’t decompose. Por Lung Daeng, as the monk was called, spent a large part of his life meditating and apparently developed visionary abilities as a result. Because his will already contained the decree that he would like to be preserved for posterity if he did not decompose.
  • Lunch
After visiting the mummy, our jungle excursion leads into the mountains and the hinterland of the island. Here you will get a Thai meal. This consists of 5 different dishes and a bottle of drinking water. Other drinks are also available but must be paid for separately. From the high-lying restaurant, you can also enjoy a great view over the forests to the sea.
  • Magic Buddha Garden
After the sights in the morning, the actual jungle safari begins. The Magic Garden is located 600 meters high in the middle of the rainforest. Here Tar Nim (Uncle Nim) has created a hidden oasis at the old age of 77 years. In this idyllic place, you will see numerous Buddhist figures and many hidden details. Until his death, he worked on his life’s work for 14 years and thus set his own monument. There is also a small waterfall in this magical garden. This ends in a creek that flows right through this little piece of paradise.
  • Rubber Tree Plantation
Now our off-road jungle excursion leads to a rubber tree plantation. Here we show you the cutting technique on the tree bark, which makes the latex flow. The liquid then spirals into a drip tray made from a halved coconut.
  • Big Buddha Temple
After visiting the rubber tree plantation, the off-road drive continues through the jungle. In Maenam, you reach the ring road of Koh Samui again. This continues to the Big Buddha, the symbol of the island of Koh Samui. The Big Buddha platform is also a beautiful viewpoint. From here you have a view over the Bay of Bang Rak as well as the offshore island of Koh Som and the neighboring island of Koh Phangan.
  • Transfer back to Hotel/Accommodation
After visiting the Big Buddha, our jungle safari ends. From here you will be brought back to your accommodation.
