Bophut Beach – North Coast

Bophut Beach is located on the northern coast between Maenam Beach and Bangrak Beach. It is one of Koh Samui’s oldest areas and is famous for its’ charming center called “Fisherman’s Village”.

The Fisherman’s Village is basically just one very narrow street with many old wooden houses and some modern buildings between. Fishermans Village has plenty of good restaurants, some with a beautiful view to Koh Phangan.

Walking Street BOPHUT

  • Weekday: Friday
  • Time: 5pm – 11pm
  • Area: Bophut Fishermans Village

The walking street in Bophut is Koh Samui’s most popular and busiest Walking Street, held every Friday.

This is definitely one of the things you should not miss while your holidaying on Koh Samui. Same as on the other beaches, on the day the walking street takes place, the road will be closed for traffic from 5pm.
